Yawn Advent Calendar Day 10 – Movie Night Popcorn

It’s the 10th already! My my, December is hurtling on apace in that way it does when you’re still woefully unprepared for the festive season. I’ve still got a Christmas cake to make. And presents to buy. I haven’t even started boiling the Brussels sprouts yet!

Today’s Yawn Advent offering is Movie Night Popcorn tea. It’s another popcorn-inspired tea, but this one’s rooibos-based. And it doesn’t contain toasted rice. (I think it should be mandatory for all popcorn-based teas to have toasted rice in them.)

It does, however, contain rooibos, pomegranate peel, calendula, plum petals and natural flavourings. It’s rather nice with a vanilla-y cakey vibe. It smells strongly (and tastes slightly) of coconut. This is either the work of the natural flavourings or my imagination.

It’s not particularly popcorny (shoulda toasted some rice up!) but it does taste like nice rooibos with nice things added and that’s good enough for me.
