Bird & Blend Advent Calendar Day 15 – Cold Weather Warrior
Bird & Blend were apparently set on doing me good with this Cold Weather Warrior. It contains eucalyptus leaves, aniseed, lemongrass, chilli, echinacea and peppermint. It tastes every bit as medicinal as you would expect a tisane made of those things to taste.
Honestly, this tea had better be clearing my sinuses or boosting my immunity or giving me superpowers or something because it tasted horrible. It was like drinking Vicks Vaporub.
It felt like something you’d get on prescription rather than a tasty Christmasy treat. Rather like opening the window of a chocolate advent calendar and finding an aspirin.
It’s still going to outrank Fireside Snuggles, though. Sure, it tastes like something a stern Victorian nanny would give you a teaspoon of before bed, but at least it didn’t have Lapsang Souching in it.
